The Punta del Este Polo & Country Club is fully operational since 1989, the year of its founding. Is the result of the visionary idea of ​​many who dreamed of this project and Hector Barrantes, Peter Brant and Gonzalo Pieres came true in 1989. Sarah Ferguson was the godmother of the opening match and went on to witness the great high handicap matches, as did her mother Susan Barrantes.
Their courts are for January and February, the scene of side tournaments up to 14-goal handicap, widely recognized in the international polar environment.

Visit their courts recognized players from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, USA, UK among others.



Club House

It was built in 1988, his style reflected the "colonial Indian English" and the large gallery overlooking the court No. 1 is the preferred place to enjoy the games.

It is a place to meet, try one of the specialties of the kitchen and gather around the home to trade stories and share good times.

The Club has three polo fields of the highest regulatory action in immaculate condition and an irrigation system that retains its green in good condition.

Each court has its runaway located under the shade of old groves. The court No. 1-which play the major parties, is located at the foot of the great gallery of Club House, from where the spectators enjoyed the games in a privileged sector.

Facilities for Staff

Rooms for grooms with bunk beds plus type bathroom, kitchen and fireplace.

Facilities for Horses

Has stables within the enterprise and housing for grooms, as well as stick and ball room, warehouses, offices and multipurpose room.

The stables consist of large external individual pens, all with very good shade, grazing on natural pastures between the forest and an adequate supply of water for the animals.



The club offers visitors the opportunity to participate in the trip organized to go tree-lined avenues and paths to reach the sea and beaches, quiet and secluded.
